Director of Sales

Aareas is a PropTech company that focuses on creating epic home-buying experiences. Our platform allows people to shop, purchase, and make selections using photorealistic virtual homes, communities, and virtual design centers, online or in person.

PURPOSE

As the Director of Sales, you are responsible for the structure & organization of the sales team, setting, meeting and or exceeding monthly and annual Sales targets. Sales Training; Sales reporting and Analysis, Direct Sales, Client Maintenance, Tradeshow preparation. Auxiliary tasks include product development and scoping, Contract maintenance & development. In broad sense you are responsible for optimizing our product value and price to maximize inbound revenue for the company.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The key responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Sales Quota management, set budgets with management, and manage the team to meet or exceed monthly quotas
  • Consistent onboarding of new business.
  • Manage and maintain existing clients & business opportunities
  • Day-to-day management of lead generation, negotiations, and sales closing
  • Participate in the development and execution of the sales and marketing plan
  • Development and executing marketing programs including mailers, email, telemarketing, seminars etc.,
  • Identify market opportunities and trends
  • Reporting and analysis of team performance
  • Manage all Sales and Marketing employees
  • Hiring of new team members

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Undergraduate university degree in business, marketing, or similar fields – Or equivalent experience with a proven track record.
  • Prior professional experience in the real estate, software sales, marketing, new media, advertising, or related fields of business would be an asset.
  • Experience in New Home Industry with contact with Builders and developers is a bonus
  • Prior experience in the software sales, SaaS, internet, computer based products and services is a bonus
  • A strong understanding of High value, long cycle B2B sales
  • Experience in New Home Industry with contact with Builders and developers is a bonus

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

  • Highly motivated and willing to take initiative
  • Strong communication skills including verbal, written and listening
  • Ability to work within tight time deadlines to complete a project
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Possesses a passion and comfort with information technology and its evolving role in the New Economy
